I read an article last week on Forbes.com on executive personal healthcare habits in relations with getting massages. The point of it was that business leaders are starting to look at massage therapy more as a necessity. Same as working out 💪 and eating healthy 🥗.
Study after study keeps reinforcing the benefits of therapeutic massage 💆 so they are introducing massages as corporate wellness programs and as well as for their own personal care. As a result, many executives are changing their mindset from thinking of massage as a nice treat, to thinking of massage therapy as an essential item in their routine that helps them perform at the top of their game. 🏆
But as I was reading the article I couldn’t help but see the executive in all of us. Whether you have the letter “C” before your title or you don’t it seems to me we’re all going through the same things.
Overloaded with work, very tired even in the morning, 😞 burdened with decisions and deadlines, house choirs and kids activities stocked up on top of each other 😖 … sounds familiar?
If you work in an executive position or not, chances are that the feeling is familiar, and somedays you just feel over it. 🤦♀️
Depending on the environment, you may be more likely to experience physical exhaustion, lack of sleep, mental health issues, and other problems that have the potential to compromise your overall health and life balance.
If these issues persist, you can have long-term consequences for your heart health, organ functions, or physical capabilities. Massage and other forms of bodywork can help address these concerns and prevent them. It is much easier to prevent things than to heal them.
You probably need it more than you think you do.
It’s a jumpstart point to make good health decisions.
Massage is an investment in long-term health and wellbeing.
You’ll feel less stressed, less anxious, less depressed.
You’ll get rid of tension headaches without medication.
Reduce lower back pain and in other areas of the body.

Listen, you don’t even have to come to me, seriously. But get some work done regularly. It is crucial for your health.
Remember Health is Everything. Take good care of yourself.
